Testimonials

Personnel from over 260 agencies have trained with us over the past 8 years.

Here are a few comments from our past students…

—-

This course [Emergency Medical Response to the Active Shooter] was a superb starting point for an EMS professional to receive education alongside the police we may be responding with.  In today’s world, training across professional lines is a difficult task and the instructors at Tac-Med succeeded in doing just that.  I would recommend this course and Tac-Med to anyone looking for a resource for a tactical type EMS course.

—-

I want to thank you for a fantastic Emergency Medical Response to the Active Shooter class this Saturday. I think I learned more in that one single day than I have in my whole EMT class. Easily the best class I have ever taken. Thank you again.

—-

Basic Tactical Medicine was by far one of the BEST classes I have ever taken, along with your Active Shooter course.  I learned so much from everyone during those three days and I had fun while I was learning.  I think I can speak for everyone that took the class from our department when I say this.  What you fellas are doing is an amazing thing.  I truly believe that you’re going to save lives (both patient and provider) by teaching this class (and active shooter) and your teaching techniques are out of this world!  Thank you everyone at Tac-Med for putting on one hell of a class!

—-

Thanks for a truly awesome class. I can say without hesitation that this is easily the best training I’ve ever gotten. Your lectures were outstanding and the hands-on and tactical exercises were really fun and educational. I cannot believe how much I learned in such a short time. As a result, I’ve decided to go to medic school because this made me realize just how much I don’t know. Also, I have to tell you I really appreciate the way everyone was treated as an equal. You know this field and its hero/super medic complex. I was worried about being a lowly EMT and not knowing very much but your teaching style put everyone on an equal playing field and I appreciated that.

—-

Words cannot express how impressed I was with your course.  I thought in depth about why it worked so well during my drive home from the class.  I honestly believe that it was a combination of student centered teaching methods such as team teaching and roleplay.  I think that it was also very obvious that as a team the instructors all had good character and strong moral and ethical standards.  Finally, that class was taught at a level that instituted a higher level of learning, and the use of a cumulative psychomotor final scenario more accurately evaluated a synthesis / evaluation understanding than a written exam would have.

I have just returned home from the one day Emergency Medical Response to the Active Shooter. First off I would like to commend your staff as they are some of the most knowledgeable and professional individuals I have ever had the honor to meet let alone train with. I have served as an EMT in several inner cities in NJ as well as in cities and rural settings in Tennessee. This was without a doubt the single most informative and realistic training programs I have ever taken. The class has a huge amount of information, but not so much that you feel overwhelmed. The staff was able to keep my attention and keep me interested (which is not an easy thing to accomplish). Your staff presented me and several of my coworkers who attended with me with scenarios which force you to think out of the box. They were there enough to ensure that you did everything right, and stayed safe, but weren’t over your shoulder the entire time. I cannot wait to train with these fine gentlemen again in the near future. They are a true asset to your company, their respective agencies, and the service as a whole.

—-

The hands on portions of the course were the best portions of the class.  I also think that the use of improvised items should remain a big part of the course.  This forces students to not only think tactically, but to think creatively, and gain not only an understanding of the devices that are available but also shows that they understand the underlying purpose of those devices and their ability to use other means to complete the mission.

—-

I would like to take this time to personally thank you and say what a great experience the active shooter class was and how well taught it was. I have learned a lot and would love to take the three day course at some time for more experience. I will most definitely be passing on the word of this class and experience. Again thank you for your time and a great experience.

—-

Thanks again for an awesome class. You guys put on a very professional and dynamic program that helped me balance my law enforcement and medical training.

—-

Thanks again for the opportunity to train with you guys.  I really got a lot out of the day.  You are doing important work.  Keep it up!!

—-

What you all are doing here is absolutely heroic in every sense.

—-

I’d like to thank you and your staff for the knowledge and training they gave myself and others between the TEMS class and Active shooter class. I recently responded to a call where a patient had received a GSW to the arm. BLS had attempted direct pressure but it was not enough to stop the bleeding. I decided to utilize the tactical tourniquet that we carry in our boxes on a daily bases. I placed the tourniquet on her arm and we were able to control the bleeding immediately after this was done and secured. Patient noted improvement in pain. The trauma team stated that it was indeed an arterial hit and they were able to stabilize the wound and bleeding with the tourniquet still in place. The tourniquet was in place for approximately 30 minutes total. I honestly would not have thought to use that simple piece of equipment if I had not taken your classes. I now have a better understanding and knowledge for wound and bleeding control due to these 2 classes. I hope to be able to do more work with the Tac Med guys. I look forward to upcoming classes.

—-

I found your class to be one of the most exceptional courses I have completed in a long time!!  Kudos to you and your entire team!  I will definitely be speaking with our Ambulance Chief to fully recommend your course be presented onsite.

—-

The lectures and the way you teach taught me more in 24 hours than anyone else I can say.  You took techniques and instilled them in our minds in such a way that we can never forget them.

—-

The class was great!  It was unique because it covered all aspects of tactical medicine (unlike some I have taken).  The scenarios were realistic and fun.  All of your staff are subject matter experts with plenty of experience.  I especially enjoyed the lectures by Dr. Dave and Dr. Rick.  I speak highly of your class and have recommended it to coworkers and team members.  I’m sure we will meet in the future as I plan on attending further education with your company.

—-

This was a great program and I would put it in the top few that I have ever attended.  Thanks again for all of your time and energy.

—-

Thanks for a great class today guys! Will def keep an eye out for more of your classes.

—-

Thanks for keeping us informed about the con-ed and other details throughout the class. I have and will continue to recommend the class to my colleagues.

—-

It was exciting and a great learning time at the Active Shooter class! I look forward to taking more classes in the future.

—-

Attended the Active Shoot 1-day course today. Great class and afternoon scenarios!

—-

Thank you so much for a great day at the active shoooter class yesterday. I met a lot of cool people, had a great time, and learned a few things in the process..Bravo Zulu All!

—- Great training at the Brandywine Hospital today! The Tac-Med staff are experienced and engaging. I will recommend their training to my friends and colleagues. Great work Tac-Med!

—-

Just wanted to let you know the Active Shooter class was very informational and I had a great time. Thanks again on a great class.

—-

I just wanted to say thanks for putting on a great class! As a new EMT I have to admit I was a little nervous, not knowing what to expect, since I just took my written exam three days ago. However, you and you staff did a fantastic job and the students I worked with were helpful and friendly. Accolades to your staff and the volunteers who helped to make the program such a success!

—-

I want to personally thank you and the team for an outstanding day. I have not run in awhile and want to get back in the field but realize just how much work I need to do. Once again, thank you for the mission on providing excellent training in “uncertain” times. Thanks and stay safe!

—-

Thank you, once again for the absolutely fantastic experience that you and the rest if your crew make possible for us to experience yesterday.

—-

Just wanted to say thanks to the staff at Tac-Med for the training this past Saturday. It was one of the memorable trainings that I won’t forget and will use.

—-

In my 34 years in EMS this was by far the best course I have ever taken. Kudos to Tac-Med for a very organized and well taught program… every EMS provider should try to attend one. To my fellow students I enjoyed working with you during the scenario and you all did a great job. Thanks again.

—-

I really enjoyed your course. I learned a great a deal and now know what my SWAT medic partner acts the way he does. Again, thank you for a great class, and I look forward to taking more classes myself and sending my other crew members your way.

—-

On behalf of myself and the others that came from my department, THANK YOU! The class yesterday was great, full of information! The enthusiasm that your staff has made the class a lot of fun! I would like to extend an invite to your staff to teach a class at our station sometime.

—-

I wanted to say thanks for putting on such a great class. After all the long and boring classes out there that we have to sit through every year for con-ed, this was an awesome change of pace. The 5 of us in our group absolutely loved the class. You have an excellent group of instructors, who are clearly all very knowledgeable in their fields. They also all went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. —- Thank you for giving us all an awesome weekend! I had a blast, learned a lot, and meet a lot of new people. The instructors were awesome and very knowledgeable. Most important they were excellent at teaching, keeping things at a level that we could understand, and willing to take whatever time was needed to explain things! Overall, A++++ !

—-

We want to thank you for a phenomenal class! This was more than we expected it to be and we all certainly had a blast. We appreciate everything you guys did to take the time ensuring our education. You guys had a perfect amount of class and practical sessions. Very easy to learn in, always exciting information. We already have students lined up awaiting your next class.

—-

While there are many new business enterprises offering and promoting this new medical training, your program holds the leading edge. The quality and breadth of the course material, and the excellent training your staff provided in field maneuvers each day was “state-of-the-art”. Your course instilled the necessary “pearls”, and the feedback from the team members (who can be a very ‘tough audience’) has been most positive. Most importantly, they left your course with a much greater confidence to more effectively deliver medical care at high risk critical incidents, and clearly your staff taught them the necessary lifesaving skills and maneuvers for law-enforcement combat conditions.

—-

It was my pleasure to attend your class last weekend. I look forward to sharing what I learned with both my team and the guys on patrol.

—-

Guys, Had a fantastic time. Probably the best class I have ever taken in 28 years of emergency services.

—-

I would like to thank the entire Staff at Tac-Med, you guys put on an excellent course.

—-

Instructor’s knew their information, were able to connect with the class, and confirmed that everyone understood.

—-

Every instructor was excellent. The four days flew by!

—-

This is one of the best training courses I have attended and I will most surely recommend to others.

—-

I highly recommend this program to other EMS and tactical professionals.

—-

Enjoyed the course. Positive learning experience.

—-

AAA+++!

—-

Attending this course has me walking on a natural high.

—-

It was a great experience, I can’t wait to come back for the advanced class.

—-

OUTSTANDING COURSE!! More then I expected and definitely not like previous courses I have taken before.

—-

This is by far one of the best classes I have had the opportunity to attend in my 15 years of EMS/Fire and 5 years of Law Enforcement training.

—-

This class has opened up my eyes to the unknown side of ems in my 15 years of service. I am so looking forward to the advanced class.

—-

Just letting you know I had a wonderful and fun time in class. Met some really nice people as well; from staff to fellow classmates. I learned a lot from the class; both tactical and medical. But to be honest I think I learned more about myself.

—-

Thank you for a great training experience. Working primarily as an administrator nowadays it was great for me to get out there and sweat a little. Your crew was top notch.
